Although Fifth Star Sc Town Planners was only established in 2020, the directors of the company, who are still involved in Lombard Du Preez Land Surveyors and Town Planners (based in Brits North West), spill their combined professional experience of 39 years in the fields of town planning and land surveying in the newly established Tshwane branch.
Fifth Star sc will in future be responsible for all applications to be submitted in the Tshwane municipality, while Lombard Du Preez can assist with any survey requirements.

Land Survey Projects
Cadastral Surveys
We are actively involved in all forms of cadastral surveys (farm and erf subdivisions, townships, beacon replacements, servitudes) throughout Gauteng, North West, Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces.
We have also done surveys of big townships for private developers, including:
Brits Extensions 19, 20, 24, 33, 37, 40, 44, 45, 51, 54, 55, 57, 58, 62, 66, 70, 72, 92, 104, 105, 120, 121, 122, 130 and 238. Examples in Hartbeespoort include Melodie X 22, 26, 31, 33 and 36, Arbourfell, Kosmos Ridge, Kosmos X 6, 7, 8 and 9 (Leloko estate), Ifafi X 6 (Birdwood Estate) and X 7, Magalies Golf Estate, Magalies River Club, Everglades (Hartbeespoort) etc.
Sectional Title surveys
As Sectional Title practitioners we do the survey and compilation of sectional title plans for residential and business buildings. We have done sectional titles in Tshwane, Rustenburg, Brits, Hartbeespoort, Hoedspruit, Northam and Johannesburg.
Engineering surveys
We do engineering surveys for roads, dams and township development; photo control surveys, et cetera. An example was the setting out of profiles for the construction of roads in Bapong (Between Brits and Rustenburg).
Mining surveys
We are involved in several mining surveys and the compilation of plans for prospecting right applications for mining companies. The company also specializes in compiling of mining right diagrams. We have also compiled various prospecting plans and magazine site plans. We surveyed stock piles on a monthly basis for MANGWE mine.
